We train using the 8 discipline framework which covers the AS1300 aerospace requirements.
Statistical tools (Six Sigma)
Six Sigma started in the 1980s and became popular during the 1990s and beyond.
We have found that companies don’t need all the tools within the six sigma tool boxes and in some instances the only benefit is a more attractive C.V for the candidates. Therefore we will to offer a tailored solution to organisations. Pick and mix which statistical tools you need. Or start with some tools embed them and go again.
Statistical process Control (SPC) monitor and control manufacturing processes to ensure consistent quality, detect variations early, and reduce defects, leading to improved efficiency and reduced costs.
Process Capability measures how well a process can produce output within specified limits, helping to assess the process's ability to consistently meet customer specifications and identify areas for improvement.
Measurement System Analysis (MSA) I would do this before any use of data. Why? It evaluate the accuracy, precision, and reliability of the measurement systems used in a process. It helps ensure that the data collected is trustworthy and consistent, identifying and minimizing errors or variability in the measurement process. This is crucial for making informed decisions based on the data, improving overall process quality, and maintaining product consistency.
